QunaSys Establishes Overseas Subsidiary in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Expand Quantum Technology Footprint in Europe

QunaSys, a leading quantum computing company, proudly announces the establishment of its first overseas subsidiary, QunaSys Denmark ApS, in the vibrant city of Copenhagen. The subsidiary officially commenced operations on August 29, 2023, with the strategic goal of expanding its global clientele and securing top-tier quantum talents. Copenhagen was chosen as the ideal location due to its status as a burgeoning hub for quantum technology in Europe.

QunaSys Denmark ApS is headquartered at Deep Tech Lab — Quantum, an accelerator space at Bio Innovation Institute, centrally located in the Copenhagen quantum eco-system. Deep Tech Lab — Quantum is a newly-established initiative for quantum tech start-ups and is also Denmark’s DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) accelerator.

“We are delighted that QunaSys has chosen Denmark as the location of their first overseas subsidiary, and Deep Tech Lab — Quantum as the physical location for their office.  QunaSys is a valuable member of the quantum startup ecosystem in Denmark and we look forward to facilitating their interaction with both the eco-system and the start-ups that participate in our acceleration programs,” said Cathal J. Mahon, Chief Business Officer at Deep Tech Lab — Quantum.

The decision to establish a subsidiary in Denmark was met with strong support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, in line with Denmark's comprehensive quantum technology policy aimed at fostering the growth of the quantum ecosystem within the country.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first overseas subsidiary in Copenhagen, Denmark. Copenhagen has played a pivotal role in the historical development of quantum mechanics and continues to be a global hub for quantum technology. By positioning ourselves at the heart of this vibrant ecosystem, we aim to collaborate closely with stakeholders from academia, government, and industry. This collaboration will accelerate our efforts to facilitate the deployment of quantum technology across various industries. We are committed to contributing to the Danish government's long-term investment in advancing quantum technology and will strive to accelerate progress toward the practical application of quantum technology.” said CEO of QunaSys Denmark ApS, Tennin Yan.
